Lots of people continued playing Halo 2 past the midnight deadline Microsoft gave 12 days ago for discontinuing original Xbox multiplayer support. Fourteen have managed to still keep their consoles connected and running since, prolonging the game’s final goodbye indefinitely.
We will keep playing until we are all forcibly removed. It could be by Microsoft, Bungie, our Xbox’s overheating, or just lagging out. Not for competition, not for a prize, but for the love, and memory of Halo 2.
At 4 p.m. U.S. Pacific Time, Agent Windex and Apache N4SIR were the last ones left connected to Halo 2 multiplayer – a link kept alive since midnight of April 15. Though Microsoft attempted to lure the Halo 2 diehards away with Halo: Reach beta codes and a pat on the back they stayed in until they got the boot.

Ezt nem ertem. Leveszik a multiplayert a Halo 2 alol? Miert? Miert ne jatszhatnanak Halo 2-t az emberek… ez eleg szemet huzasnak tunik. Persze, persze nyomni kell a “helo rics”-et, vegyetek csak meg azt, aztan jatsszatok, de ez akkor is csunya dolog.
az XBOX-os XBL-t szuntettek meg, allitolag azert mert ez volt az akadalya hogy 100-nal tobb contactod legyen XBL-en. Ezt en se teljsen ertem es lehet hogy egyszeruen BS. De mintha major nelson magyarazott volna ilyesmit.
Az viszont tuti hogy a (vanilla) xboxos live halott
